in 1881, this 7,000 square foot home has Queen Anne and Eastlake elements throughout. Ten
fireplaces, parquet floors, original chandeliers, painted canvas ceiling,
cherry and oak woodwork, many stained glass windows, and decorated in the late
Victorian style. |

by William Sauntry, lumber baron, whose life was truly a rags-to-riches story.
Sauntry was a first cousin to Bing Crosby. His home reflects his
eccentricities and opulence.
All guest rooms of the William Sauntry
Mansion feature fireplaces, queen or king beds, private baths (all with double
whirlpools) and CD sound system.
A
delicious full gourmet breakfast is served at the original dining room
table at 9:00 a.m.. Coffee is served beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Weather permitting, breakfast is served on the front veranda.
Snacks
and refreshments are served during check in from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The relaxed elegance of the parlors and music room
with restored player piano await your enjoyment. Tom
